A meeting with parents from K-2 was held on Wednesday afternoon, 20th Aug to explain the National Quality Standard and what this will mean for our children.
Early childhood programs from K-2 will be required to meet the National Quality Standard. Schools are required in 2015 to self-assess on the standards and to plan to make improvements. One of the key components of the seven areas of the national Quality Standard, “Collaborative partnerships with families and communities” was discussed at the meeting. We want parents to be involved with their children’s education and with our school.
