On Wednesday, 11th September Castletown PS held their Pre-Primary Sports Day.
The morning started with the students marching out to the running track.
After a welcome from Mrs Grewar, all students participated in a running race.
Although no Mums ran in the Mum's race, 5 Dads took part in their running race with one Dad demonstrating beautifully to the students that even if you fall down, you just get right back up and finish the race!
A number of future students then took to the track to run in the Younger Sibling race!
The races were followed by a tabloid sports rotation involving the sack race, flag race, egg and spoon race, beanbag throw, hang the washing relay and soccer relay. We were able to get through 4 rotations before the weather turned on us and we had to finish the Sports Day a little early. A huge thank you to all the parents who helped us pack away the sports equipment in the rain, the Year 7 helpers who were our team captains and to all the students for their positive attitude at the Sports Day.
